Bear Bottom Farm

Sooooooooo, I know it's been forever, but I have a good excuse. Actually I have several good excuses. Mainly they evolve around moving to a new farm with a 6 month old a few months ago. Let me tell you, I'm loving the new farm. Here are a few pics of the animals enjoying it too!!

Well it's been awhile since I've been on here. Roy and I are now married and expecting our little girl to get here in about 9 more weeks. I can't believe how much our life has changed in such a short amount of time. I still can't believe I'm going to be a mama. I'm excited but scared to death. How will I know how to handle everything? I just keep telling myself to take it one day at a time, and hope that motherly instinct everyone talks about really does kick in.

I'm feeling great except for the tiredness that has crept back in and the raging varicose veins that have shown up in my legs. I've almost reached my weight gain goal already, so I'll probably be creeping over that amount. I'm gonna try to behave the last few weeks and then the lactation diet kicks in!! :)

Well, I killed the iron this morning so I'm gonna go shower and head to Wal-mart to pick up a new one. Promise to update with pictures and more info later!!!

I'm preggers......................OMG I'm preggers!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes....I'm going to be one of "those" moms.........

So my girls at work were looking at me like I had three heads the other day when I shared with them my dreams to use cloth diapers when I have children in the near future. So here I lay on the couch far from preggers....that will be occurring in about a year or so from now.....researching cloth diapers on the internet.

Boy oh boy, I had no idea the expansive amount of knowledge out there about making diapers. Oh, did I forget to mention...I am a sewing-diva-extraordinaire so I will most likely be making these myself. I've got to have something to do in my 9 months of preparing for mommy hood.
